KeyBoy Advance is PromoType's first project. It brings the GBA to a 50% keyboard with refined elements, built around good typing feel, good typing sound, and a fun visual experience. Layout 2 (2.25u + 1u + 2.75u split spacebar) requires plate-mounted stabilizers. Details: Inspiration Inspired by the Game Boy Advance, one of Nintendo's best-selling handheld consoles The small keyboard size captures that compact, portable feeling The GBA's wide aspect ratio, together with a number row, makes a small board more approachable for enthusiasts Lands on a 50% layout Design Concept The GBA's bold, irregular design makes direct copying unwise. It would break design principles and look odd. So the focus is on capturing its spirit, not its shape, while keeping the basic form of a keyboard.
