The HMX Desert linear switch was designed by HIFI Fox to match the DMK Silent Desert keycap set, with a translucent PA12 housing evoking sand and wind. The PA12 housing makes the travel silky smooth, and HMX’s precise factory lubing adds to it. Sound-wise these belong to the classic HMX clack category: the POM stem and PA12 housing make them bright, clean and clacky, while the softness of PA12 balances out the stiffer bottom-out the POM stem can bring. Factory lubed with mixed GPL105 and GPL205 on the leaf spring, stem feet and bottom housing rails.
