The HMX Egg Yolk Linear Switch is the first HMX switch to feature their innovative Hybrid Molding System, allowing the bottom housing and center mast to be made from different materials. For Egg Yolk, the bottom housing uses durable PA66 with 10% fiberglass, while the center mast is molded from HMX's S1 blend. This unique combination delivers a crisp, clacky, and exceptionally clean sound profile while maintaining excellent structural integrity. The Hybrid Molding System makes it possible to utilize specialty materials like S1 in ways that were previously impractical, opening new possibilities for switch sound and feel customization. Finished with HMX's renowned factory lubrication, the Egg Yolk offers outstanding smoothness right out of the box. It is one of HMX's most balanced and best-sounding clacky linear switches to date.
