UniKeys offers an in-house hand-lubing and modding service for Cherry MX switches, expanded after a satisfying test run with hand-lubed Vertex V1 switches. Every Cherry switch ships with at least a minimally lubed stem to keep the crisp sound; customers can request full lubing of the stem and the bottom housing rails by leaving a note with the order. Several Cherry MX models are available for the service, including MX2A Purple, whose stems come trimmed with the Geon stem trimmer.
