Keyboard Overview

The KBDfans SOLAR is a compact 50-key ortholinear keyboard kit designed by Wei, inspired by the Teenage Engineering OP-1 synthesizer. It uses a gasket-mount structure with an anodized aluminum case and a choice of anodized aluminum or PVD stainless-steel weight, a 5-degree typing angle, and two EC11 rotary knobs. The hot-swap 1.2mm PCB runs QMK firmware over USB-C without RGB and accepts MX-style switches. It also supports replaceable OLED and RGB modules.
