Amazon Associates Program

Search Data Logging

To help improve our content and UI, we record on-site search usage (search keywords, filter combinations, and sort order) both via Google Analytics and on our own server.

• Information recorded: search conditions (keywords, filter combinations, sort order), result count, and an irreversible hash derived from your IP address
• Information not recorded: raw IP address, user agent, or any personally identifiable information
• Retention period: 180 days from recording

What is recorded differs depending on whether you select "Accept" or "Decline" in the consent banner. Even if you select "Decline", aggregate records that do not identify you (search conditions, result count, sort order, locale, and timestamp) are still kept (the legal basis is legitimate interest). What is not recorded when you select "Decline" is the hash derived from your IP address (ip_hash) and transmission to Google Analytics.

View History Logging

We record views of switch and keyboard detail pages and blog articles on our own server, for a popularity ranking display, personalized recommendations for logged-in users, and aggregation and analysis of viewing trends by the site operator.

• Information recorded: the ID of the switch or keyboard viewed, the page context (list, recommendation, related products, blog, or other), locale, and timestamp. If you consent, an anonymous identifier (anon_id), an irreversible hash derived from your IP address, and your account ID (if logged in) are additionally recorded
• Information recorded for blog articles: the identifier of the article viewed (the slug in its URL), the referrer category (on-site, external site, or direct; the referring URL itself is not recorded), locale, and timestamp. If you consent, an anonymous identifier (anon_id) and an irreversible hash derived from your IP address are additionally recorded. Your account ID is not recorded
• Information not recorded: raw IP address, or the content of the page itself
• To determine the page context, when you click a link to a detail page, a temporary value (the source category, the target ID, and the time) is stored in your browser's session storage. It expires after 30 seconds and is deleted on the destination page
• Retention period: 180 days from recording

Access Analytics Data Logging

To understand overall site usage (visit counts, traffic sources, pages viewed, and the volume of automated access) and to improve the service and guard against abusive access, we record access logs on our own server.

• Information recorded: the path of the page viewed, locale, country (estimated from IP address), the host name of the referring site, utm_source, device type and OS, timestamp, whether the page was displayed in a browser (JavaScript execution) and page transitions within the site, and an irreversible hash computed from your IP address and User-Agent using a random value that changes daily
• Information not recorded: the raw IP address, the User-Agent string, cookies, or any personally identifiable information
• The random value used to compute the hash is deleted within 2 days, so it cannot later be used to identify or track an individual or browser
• Retention period: indefinite (because the data is stored in a form that cannot identify individuals)

This access logging occurs regardless of your choice in the consent banner (the legal basis is legitimate interest).

Personal Information Handling

Personal information collected through contact forms, user registration, etc., is used for the following purposes:

• Responding to inquiries
• Service provision (account management, review posting, etc.)
• Statistics and analysis for service improvement
• Important notifications

Personal information will not be provided to third parties (except when required by law).

User Authentication

This site uses Supabase (Supabase Inc.) for user authentication. The following information is collected during registration:

• Email address
• Username, display name
• Profile information when using OAuth (Google, GitHub, etc.)
