Hmx Egg Yolk

The HMX Egg Yolk is a switch built with HMX's first hybrid molding system, which allows the bottom housing and center mast to be molded from different materials. The Egg Yolk uses a durable PA66 with 10% glass fiber for the bottom housing and HMX's S1 blend for the center mast. This combination achieves a crisp, clacky, and very clean sound profile while maintaining excellent structural rigidity. The hybrid molding system makes it practical to use specialty materials like S1 in ways that weren't previously feasible, opening new possibilities for customizing switch sound and feel. It carries HMX's well-regarded factory lube finish, offering excellent smoothness out of the box — one of the best-balanced, best-sounding clacky linears HMX has made.
