Switch Overview

The HMX Yamatake is a long-pole tactile switch with a relatively small P-shaped bump. The PC top housing and POM stem ensure smooth travel, while the PA-2 bottom housing gives a thick but clacky sound profile. It is one of the better tactile switches for linear enthusiasts: unlike tactiles with a large bump such as Holy Panda, its tactility is gentle rather than abrupt. Factory lubed, with a very thin coat of 205g0 on the stem legs and sliders and dry film on the spring and leaf.
