Switch Overview

The Taro Silent is the newest MX-style silent linear switch made by HMX. Unlike previous HMX silent switches, it uses an MX stem and a double-shot stem as a better silencing mechanism. It suits daily typing and office work: quiet enough not to disturb colleagues, while the bottom-out feel avoids the mushiness common to silent switches. Factory lubed, with a very thin coat of 205g0 on the stem legs and sliders and dry film on the spring and leaf.
