Switch Overview

The Gateron x Sillyworks Type R is designed as a 100% pure tactile switch with no linear travel before or after the bump. It achieves this with a super short 3mm total travel, an elongated stem pole, and a tactile bump design so that tactility starts at keypress and ends at bottom-out. Because travel is so short and bottom-out arrives quickly, the switch sounds clackier than other Gateron tactile switches. It is factory lubed with mixed GPL105 and GPL205 on the leaf spring, stem feet, and bottom housing rails.
