Switch Overview

The Mountain Top linear switches by Gateron were specifically designed with e-sports and gaming. They have a reduced pre-travel distance of 1.2mm, which Gateron found to be the ideal travel distance that combines fast actuation without accidental actuation. They have a long spring, which gives them a snappy typing experience. The nylon housings give them a deeper sound profile. Gateron Mountain Top Switch Teardown The Gateron Mountain top linear switches are also pre-lubed from the factory, so you don't have to worry about lubing them yourself. If you do choose to lube these, we recommend using a thicker lube, such as Carbon GS2 or Krytox 205g0.
