PA stands for Polyamide (Nylon), a family of strong, durable plastics, and this switch is made fully of nylon to stand out among existing clacky switches. Unlike LY or POM designs, a nylon stem plus nylon bottom housing creates a clacky yet bassy, condensed sound profile that is relatively loud, clacky, and pleasant. A custom modified nylon top housing increases overall smoothness, and the new mold helps make the travel feel silky and effortless.
