Goat Works abandoned the deliberately retained material friction (the sandy feel) of the initial design, refining this switch into a modern-OG switch with an extremely smooth typing experience. After several lubrication iterations, the team skipped HuanNuo's PR05 lubricant, since its high fluidity risked splashing onto the stem step during nozzle application and deadening the bottom-out sound. A dedicated production line and an exclusive lubricant, GN01, were developed instead, performing similarly to Krytox 3204 on the spring and leaf.
