The Gateron Green Apple tactile switches are full-POM switches, including the housings and stem. POM is known to have a low coefficient of friction, meaning it produces minimal scratchiness while typing. POM is also known to have a deep sound profile. The added factory lube gives it smoothness and further sound dampening.
