Init40 | Every Journey Starts with a First Try Every journey begins with a first try. In programming, init is where everything starts. For Chosfox, that beginning was 40% keyboards. From Geonix48 to Rev.2.5, we’ve been exploring what 40% keyboards can be, helping more people take their first step into compact layouts. Then we heard a new question: “What about Row Stagger layout?” That’s how Init40 was born. Not to say one layout is better than another, but to offer a new choice—from ortholinear to column stagger, from the familiar to something new. Init40 stands for Initialization and Initial Attempt. Because every new possibility starts with a first try.
